It also shows the differences between declarative and procedural memory. Think you are an auditory or visual learner? Scientists say it's unlikely. - Take a minute to listen to this podcast. Here's an article ( Learning Styles: Concepts and Evidence) by the scientist interviewed if you have time. Prosopagnosia - This video shows a woman's with a medical condition, the inability to recall faces. Facial recogntion requires the use of long term memory (LTM) and the "reconstruction" of visual information (Retrieval). It seems something as simple as facial recognition even requires your long term memory. |
